Après 15 années de dépôt à Aix-en-Provence, la collection est rentrée en Suisse et sera visible dès le 6 novembre au Musée Jenisch Vevey, rejoignant les gravures qui avaient déjà été déposées en 2001 par la Fondation.

L’exposition Kosta Alex, « coup de chapeau », présentée jusqu’au 6 septembre 2026 dans la chapelle des pénitents blancs, retrace cinquante années de carrière de ce sculpteur américain d’origine grecque qui passa sa vie entre Paris et Genève et fut un proche ami de Jean Planque. 

Dernier projet co-réalisé par la fondation Planque et le Musée Granet, cette exposition vient clore ces quinze années de collaboration tel un « coup de chapeau » célébrant cette belle aventure.

After 15 years on deposit in Aix-en-Provence, the collection has returned to Switzerland and will be on display from November 6 at the Musée Jenisch Vevey, joining the prints that had already been deposited by the Foundation in 2001.

The exhibition Kosta Alex, “Coup de chapeau”, presented until September 6, 2026, in the Chapel of the White Penitents, retraces fifty years of the career of this American sculptor of Greek origin, who spent his life between Paris and Geneva and was a close friend of Jean Planque.

The final project co-produced by the Planque Foundation and the Musée Granet, this exhibition brings to a close fifteen years of collaboration, like a “tip of the hat” celebrating this remarkable journey.
